Forms for the tail group were began by sticking paper outlines to foam board.

After cutting the foam to size on a scroll saw, the cut edges were taped so that glue would not stick.

Here is the completed tail framework--the fin and horizontal stabilizer will be sheeted while the rudder and elevators remain open structures.
